City as Lab is an annual, city-based research project undertaken by schoolchildren for 6-7 months, which culminates in a one-day conference event.

The research project Forts in Maharashtra by our students of STD IX, Bhumi Mohod, Trisha Kotwal and Neha Godse, was selected to be presented at the CaL Conference on 13 March 2021.The team along with their mentors Mrs. Manisha Girolkar and Mrs. Aarti Gosavi
brainstormed a lot on the research question. They concluded that that their hypothesis,Forts in Pune are being demolished and conservation efforts fall short of the desired results are proven wrong in the case of only Major forts.

Bhumi, Trisha and Neha received ‘Certificate of excellence’ for presenting their paper in the CaL conference.
