Objectives

The goal of this department is to help the students for their overall holistic development by offering them learning opportunities through Academic and other co-curricular activities. Students are always motivated to participate, lead and conduct various departmental activities under Commerce Horizon.

Examination System

The evaluation of students will be done on three parameters:-

  1. Internal assessment – 30 Marks – (written exam, quiz, presentation, project, assignments, Tutorial, oral exam)
  2. Practical Examination (for practical subject , refer syllabus ) – 20 Marks
  3. University examination – Paper of 50 Marks for Practical subjects, other subjects – 70 Marks

For TYBcom

  1. Practical Exam: Oral Examination (VIVA) for 3 subjects: 20 marks
  2. Internal Exam conducted by College(60 marks exam converted into 20 marks)
  3. External Exam by SPPU (80 marks for Theory subjects )and (60 marks for practical subjects)

Passing Eligibility

A candidate is required to obtain 40% marks in Internal Assessment, Practical Examination and Semester End University Examination. It means that passing separately at internal assessment, practical examination and semester end university examination is compulsory.

    For TYBcom

  1. Practical Exam: Minimum 8 Marks out of 20
  2. Internal Exam: Minimum 8 Marks out of 20
  3. External Exam: For Practical Subjects: Minimum 24 Marks out of 60 marks and For other subjects (Remaining subjects): Minimum 32 marks out of 60 marks
